The multi layering of 3 foam types helps to create ventilation air flow and contributes to keeping your mattress cool and dry. The base foam is High Resiliency, High-density Polyurethane Vita Ultra Cell Foam, considered among the best and most durable polyurethane foams in the world. For this Mattress we use a full 4.7 inches for perfect comfort! The luxurious cover is a Damask Mattelaise, Micro-Lux Cotton-blend Stretch fabric. All our mattresses meet Fire Retardant Compliance Codes for their state. The bottom of the mattress has an expensive Hanes Converting Grip-Tite Base to prevent any lateral movement of the foundation.

Memory foam, technically "visco-elastic foam," was originally developed by NASA for use by astronauts.
